The Budo Ryu Kai teaches a martial art called Budo Ryu Ninjutsu which was developed in 2004 by Soke Anshu Christa Jacobson from her personal research, training and experience. She wanted to bring back the traditional training of authentic ninjusu and classical samurai bujutsu; something that
she felt had been lost in the modern world. So she established the Budo
Ryu Kai, meaning School of the Warrior Way.
Budo
Ryu Ninjutsu is
Soke Anshu Christa
Jacobson's modern approach towards the study of ancient samurai & ninja warfare. When
developing the Budo Ryu Ninjutsu
training methods she established the Budo
Ryu Goho-no-Keiko (five areas of Budo
Ryu training) to develop the most comprehensive and complete method of
historical ninjutsu and samurai bujutsu training.
|
The five areas
of the Budo Ryu Goho-no-Keiko are:
(1) Nana
Musha-den: (七武者伝; 7 Warrior
Traditions)
(2) Gendai
Henka Waza: (現代変化技; Modern Variation Techniques)
(3) Hojo
Undo: (補助運動; Supplemental
Training)
(4) Seishin
Teki Kyoyo: (精神的教養; Spiritual Refinement)
(5) Nihon
Musha-kyuu (日本武者究; Study of the
Japanese Warrior)
All five areas
of Budo Ryu Ninjutsu training are
equally
20% of the curriculum. Each of these five areas of training includes seven sublevels
of training within. Anyone who studies
with the Budo Ryu Kai will receive
all ranks & grade in Budo Ryu
Ninjutsu.
