Kosshijutsu is a major component of taijutsu (ninja hand to hand fighting method).  The art of using Kosshijutsu causes sharp pain, numbness, and through some vital points the martial artist can cause temporary paralysis and even death. Kyushojutsu: in the field of martial arts refers to an area on the human body that may produce significant pain or other effects when manipulated in a specific manner. Techniques of attacks on pressure points, or kyūsho-jitsu, feature in various styles of Japanese martial arts, such as Daitō-ryū, Gōjū-ryū, Sekiguchi-ryū, Yōshin-ryū, Kuma-ryū, Tomo Ryu and Kōga-ryū. The concept of pressure points is present in Koryu (old methods of Japanese martial arts 15th – 17th century) Japanese martial arts and is claimed to have an even earlier history!  UNDERSTANDING HUMAN ANATOMY!
