Anshu Christa Jacobson, Founder of the Budo Ryu- School of the Warrior Way is one of the most sought after instructors in the traditional and eclectic martial traditions.  Her many years of training in several martial arts including the only non-Japanese to receive Menkyo Kaiden and named successor / inheritor of Tomo Ryu tradition of Shinobijutsu.

In 2004 Anshu Christa Jacobson tired of all of the politics that come with many of the ninjutsu organizations, wanted to bring back the tradition of Japanese Bujutsu, something that she felt has been lost in the modern world.  To do this she established the Budo Ryu , meaning School of the Japanese Warrior Way.

The Budo Ryu Ninjutsu system of martial training was developed by the collection of 7 Japanese Traditions and combining them into a way of training to fully develop one’s mind, body and spirit as one.
